TooloSea is a growing collection of online tools for the small jobs that come up constantly — compressing an image, formatting a JSON response, counting words in a draft, generating a password you will not have to remember.
Why we built it
Tools like these already exist, but most of them share the same problems. They upload your file to a server that has no business seeing it. They put an advertisement above the thing you came to use. They ask you to sign up before you can download the result, or watermark it until you pay. And they load several megabytes of JavaScript to do a job that takes a few kilobytes.
We thought a tools site could simply not do any of that.
How TooloSea is different
- Your files stay on your device. Most tools here run entirely in your browser. Not "we promise to delete it" — the file genuinely never leaves your machine, which you can verify by disconnecting from the internet and using the tool anyway.
- No account, ever, for a basic tool. You should not need to identify yourself to convert a file.
- The tool comes first. Every page puts the working tool above the fold. The explanations, examples and FAQs sit below it, for the people who want them.
- Fast on purpose. There is a performance budget for every page, and pages that exceed it do not ship.
What is coming
We are building this deliberately rather than all at once. Each tool is written properly, tested against real edge cases, and documented before it is published — a tool that fails our own content and quality checks cannot be released, which is enforced by the build rather than by good intentions.
