Terms of Service

Using TooloSea
TooloSea is free to use and needs no account. By using it you agree to these terms. They are deliberately short, because a service that collects nothing from you does not need a long contract.
Acceptable use
Please do not:
- Use the tools to process material you have no right to process
- Attempt to overwhelm, probe or disrupt the service, or evade its rate limits
- Automate access to server-side tools without asking us first — get in touch and we will usually say yes
- Use TooloSea to create anything unlawful, or to attack anyone else
No warranty
The tools are provided as they are. We test them carefully and publish nothing that has not passed its own test suite, but we cannot guarantee that every result is correct for every input or fit for your particular purpose.
For anything consequential — a financial calculation, a legal document, a production deployment — check the result independently. That is ordinary good practice with any tool, including ours.
Availability
We aim to keep the site up but do not promise any particular level of availability. Tools that run in your browser will generally keep working even when our server does not.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, TooloSea is not liable for any loss arising from using or being unable to use the service, including lost data, lost profit or business interruption. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Your content
You keep every right in whatever you process. We claim no licence over it. For tools that run in your browser we never receive it at all; for server-side tools we hold it only long enough to do the job and then delete it.
Who may use TooloSea
Anyone, anywhere, with no account and no restriction by country. We do not geoblock and have no plans to.
The one thing worth saying plainly: TooloSea is not directed at children. Nothing here asks for an age because nothing here asks for anything, but if you are below the age at which your own country lets you agree to an online service, you should be using it with a parent or guardian.
Copyright and other complaints
We host no library of user content — browser tools leave nothing with us at all, and server-side results are deleted within the hour. So there is rarely anything for us to take down. If you nonetheless believe something reachable through this site infringes your rights, email [email protected] with the URL, what you own and why you believe it infringes, and how to reach you. We will look at it promptly and act where the complaint is well founded.
Where a tool fetches a page or a record you gave it the address of, the content belongs to whoever published it. We are not its source and cannot correct it — the publisher, registrar or registry named in the result is the party who can.
Ending access
You can stop using TooloSea at any time; there is no account to close. We may withdraw a tool, or block traffic that is attacking the service or evading its rate limits, without notice. We would rather not, and it has never yet been necessary.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Sri Lanka, and the courts of Sri Lanka have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
That does not take anything away from you. If you are a consumer, you keep the protections of the mandatory law of the country you live in, and you keep the right to bring proceedings there where your own law gives it to you. Nothing in these terms overrides a right your local law does not allow to be contracted away.
If part of this is unenforceable
If any clause here turns out to be invalid or unenforceable in your jurisdiction, that clause is treated as limited to the extent needed to make it enforceable, or removed if it cannot be. The rest of these terms carry on unaffected.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date above shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
Who we are
TooloSea is published from Sri Lanka. Our publisher information page names who operates it and how to reach us.
